* Directions to The Festival

Coming from North: Take lower level of freeway as you approach downtown. Exit MLK and turn right onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Turn right at second light (Trinity).

Coming from South: Exit MLK (just past downtown) and turn left onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Turn right at third light (Trinity).

Everybody: Once on the UT campus Trinity (one-way) immediately becomes San Jacinto (two-way). Go past the small guard-house (guardless on weekends) and to the first stop sign-- you will see Bellmont Hall (stadium) on your right.

Find nearest available parking: Parking is very tricky on the UT campus: Most street parking and surface parking lots are posted for specific UT permits during the week, M - F until 5:45pm. However, some are reserved "at all times." WATCH THE SIGNS! When you park, look for the sign with arrows indicating your spot. If it does NOT say "at all times" or "all other times," then your car should not be ticketed or towed. There are also nearby parking garages which charge by the hour. NOTE: If you're coming in on Friday afternoon, be aware that most free parking is not available until 5:45pm. The number of patrolling officers is finite, and so it is possible to park before 5:45pm and not get a ticket, but the earlier you park, the greater your risk.
